The lab will aim to continue publishing in high-impact journals on subjects with broad biological and clinical implications. Staple experiments in cell biology and molecular biology are a core of most work in the lab (e.g. confocal microscopy, video microscopy, organelle purification, RT-qPCR, western blots). We also make use of Next-generation sequencing technologies, bioinformatics analysis and mass spectrometry. The lab operates on the understanding that new discoveries will often require new techniques, and will therefore continually evolve with the help of colleagues and collaborations.
